Local Sailors Performed well in the 61st Skate Class National Championships Sailed on Geographe Bay - WA

Local sailors Ken Davies and Lachlan Schroder were runners up in the 61st Skate class National Championships. Missing out by one point they are keen to remedy this at the 62nd Nationals to be held at Toronto Amateur Sailing Club later this year.

Other locals, Norm Ryan and Kevin Williams won the Veterans division while father and daughter team, Peter Scott and Tegan Scott took out 5th Place.

Luck Takes Tenth Aussie Title

David Luck and Damien Vlotman from St George Sailing Club, NSW took out the 59th Skate National Championship with a clean sweep result across all 7 heats contested on the waters of Lake Macquarie and run by Toronto Amateur Sailing Club.

Local Boat The Welshie II skates into 4th place in title.
